113875279Depression and anxiety have become unbearable.

Lately, it feels like a constant presence you can’t shake. It’s overwhelming and seems endless. Self-doubt and criticism run rampant in your mind.

It completely sucks.

You’re not sure how to cope.

It’s hard to know where to turn. Who to trust?

You’re constantly second-guessing yourself, feel powerless, and fear stalls all action.

244701250Pain has taken over your life.

A deep sorrow is always just under the surface, and you can’t seem to shake it no matter how hard you try to bury it.

You push down the emotion and put on a happy face for your friends, family, and coworkers.

But there it remains – nagging and ever-present.

It’s time to make a change.

There must be some way to escape and some semblance of relief from the pain.

There is. I’m here to help.

My mission is to help others overcome challenges.

I help individuals and couples find new ways of seeing themselves, accepting themselves, and finding their authentic path to a new way of living. It is my mission to help others. I have a deep passion for understanding the stories shared with me in my office. I will listen without judgment and help you find the calm you seek.

Whether you’re dealing with a challenging relationship, are LGBTQIA+ looking for truly affirming support, are going through a painful faith crisis/transition, or are dealing with life’s general hardships, I am here to help.

My goal is to help people stuck in their current situation by empowering them to find the courage to confront their struggles head-on.

Through our work together, my clients have learned tools that help them find the strength they already possess to reach for what they want in life.

Hello, I’m Andy Newman

AdminI have a lifelong passion for helping people. As a struggling teenager in the early 2000’s, a few key educators showed me the power of empathy that left a lasting impact on me. I knew whatever I ended up doing in life, I had to be helping people feel seen, understood, and loved. Being a therapist has been the joy of my life.

I received my master’s in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University and am currently licensed as an LAC in Arizona and an LPC in Idaho.

Helping people is my passion. I help them through the struggles of faith transitions, religious trauma, depression, anxiety, coping with the effects of abusive relationships, trauma, teen behavioral struggles, and more. I am especially passionate about providing affirming support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

I am a proponent of strong client-counselor relationships that foster an environment of trust to help clients realize and accomplish their goals.

My wife and three daughters live in Queen Creek. I am an avid sports fan, self-proclaimed choir/theater nerd, and a die-hard fan of many popular entertainment franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, and more.
